Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.

As both boxers participated in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually happening.
