Mikel Arteta feels assured that his squad can persist in handling with fitness issues following disclosing that star striker Kai Havertz is not ready for a few more weeks.

Prolonged Recovery for Havertz

Havertz has been sidelined for months after undergoing knee surgery. Originally slated to be available earlier in December, the manager stated the player encountered a problem when stepping up his rehabilitation and was unable to move forward “the required stage.”

“We took lessons, and managed to assemble a group that is far more dependable and has greater depth,” Arteta said.

This development leaves a dilemma for the midweek home game against Brentford.
